We produce the ALGORDANZA Cremation Diamond with the utmost care and precision. We document our rigorous quality control with an ALGORDANZA certificate as well as guarantee authenticity, weight, cut and colour.
Guarantee of Origin
ALGORDANZA guarantees that your cremation diamond has been created from the cremated remains or hair delivered to us. Each diamond order is marked with a unique reference number, provided to you when you sign your order form, this number is laser engraved on the diamond when finished.
Consequently, we are able to trace every step of the process; starting from your order to the finished cremation diamond. We provide you with the status of your diamond as each phase is completed.
Only Company to Offer Lab Visits
ALGORDANZA is committed to integrity and 100% transparency. We are proud to say that we are the only memorial diamond company in the world to offer lab visits.
You would only leave your loved one’s remains with the most trusted cremation diamond company. Looking at pictures and videos online are definitely not sufficient to guarantee authenticity. Before you make this important decision you can arrange a visit to our Swiss lab via our SA office to understand the process of how we grow diamonds from ashes or hair as well as meet the ALGORDANZA lab and production teams in person.
If you have decided on the quality and reputation of ALGORDANZA, you are also welcome to deliver your loved one’s ashes or hair personally to our headquarters in Domat/Ems, Switzerland and/or receive the finished cremation diamond upon completion.
Notarial and gemological certification
ALGORDANZA has had their process of turning ashes to diamonds, notarized. A notary was commissioned to accompany the diamond transformation process from the beginning where the ashes were received, to the end where a diamond was grown.
ALGORDANZA cremation diamonds have also been confirmed by qualified gemologist’s (gemstone experts) to be genuine diamonds. This gives you the notarial proof that you are working with a reputable and certified company.
Ordering a diamond is simple
After the passing of a loved one, the family is faced with many decisions some of which need to be made promptly. A diamond burial is just as convenient and simple to organize as any other type of funeral and we will help you with the process. Perhaps you want to create a prepaid diamond burial plan for yourself, the process is just as simple and shows your desire to become a diamond as well as takes the burden away from your loved ones later.

Step 1. Choose your carbon source
ALGORDANZA Pure
Made purely from the carbon extracted from human ashes, a Minimum amount of 500g of ashes is needed for an ALGORDANZA pure cremation diamond.
ALGORDANZA Hair
Made purely from the carbon extracted from human hair, a minimum amount of 5g of hair is needed for an ALGORDANZA hair memorial diamond.

If for any reason there are not enough ashes or hair, personal objects can be used in the creation of a diamond, please contact us directly for more information.

Step 3. Choose delivery method
Option 1: ALGORDANZA South Africa will travel anywhere within SA to personally secure your ashes or hair, whether from you personally or from your funeral director.
Option 2: Alternatively, if you would prefer to personally hand over the ashes/hair yourself, and visit our lab in Switzerland, please contact us to arrange a visit.
Option 3: We can provide secured shipment of collected ashes or hair to our ALGORDANZA Swiss Lab free of charge.
Once you are sure the type, cut and size of your cremation diamond, we will arrange an appointment to visit you personally in order to sign the necessary documents in order to create your cremation diamond. A unique reference number will be provided to you for your future tracking purposes, and 50% of the payment is required at this stage.
Step 4. Your cremation diamond is ready
Once our Swiss lab has received the ashes or hair, it will take approximately (depending on the size) 4 to 6 months for the complete creation process of a cremation diamond.
We will inform you of every step of the creation process.
Once your memorial diamond is finished, we will arrange to deliver your diamond to you personally. The remaining 50% payment is due upon completion.
